This illustrated booklet in Spanish, José K. Tastro y las Directrices para el Catastro Territorial Multifinalitario (José K. Tastro and the Guidelines for a Multipurpose Territorial Cadastre), presents a user-friendly representation of common situations confronted by municipal cadastre employees as they implement new land information systems to meet the needs of both the public and private sectors. The booklet was produced by Brazil’s Ministry of Cities and the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, with support from the Caixa Econômica Federal. The original text in Portuguese, Zeca Dastro e as Diretrizes para o Cadastro Territorial Multifinalitário, is specific to the Brazilian context. This translation has been adapted for use in Spanish-speaking countries.
