Peter Stein specializes in the creation of collaborative conservation investments between his firm and leading land conservation NGOs. To date, these partnerships have permanently conserved one million acres principally through the use of working forest conservation easements. Peter has a degree in environmental planning and is a former Loeb fellow. He is a former board chair of the Land Trust Alliance and was a founding commissioner of the Land Trust Accreditation Commission. He was the 2012-2013 Kingsbury Browne Fellow at the Lincoln Institute. Peter's work at the Institute has catalyzed a collaborative effort to design an international network of land conservation, land stewardship, and land restoration NGOs from around the globe.
