Kate Dykgraaf is Director of Leadership Development for the Center for Community Investment. Kate was most recently Deputy Director of the White House Council on Strong Cities, Strong Communities (SC2), which piloted innovative place-based technical assistance models in economically distressed cities. Prior to SC2, Kate managed more than $30 million in federal grants for the Sustainable Communities Initiative and was a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Kate holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from The College of William and Mary.
