Consortium for Scenario Planning Advisory Board Application

The Consortium for Scenario Planning Advisory Board is a group of practitioners, academics, and consultants that drive the mission of the Consortium for Scenario Planning forward. Advisory board members are given responsibilities based on the consortium’s three strategic directions:

• Bring more people into the field of scenario planning
• Help people doing scenario planning do it better
• Improve the tools used for scenario planning

Advisory board members are expected to attend the annual Consortium for Scenario Planning conference, participate in one of three committees within the board (research and education, conference, and recruitment), and attend two out of three advisory board meetings a year.

Currently, four positions are open, each covering a three-year term beginning in January 2027. Students, early career professionals, private sector employees, and public sector professionals working at regional planning agencies or metropolitan planning organizations are especially encouraged to apply.

Applications will close on September 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET. We will notify applicants by October 23.
