Our Work Together

As a non-profit global thought leader, the Lincoln Institute is a leading voice in shaping how we use, tax, and manage land. We offer innovative land-based solutions to social, economic, and environmental challenges that bridge the gap between theory and practice. Together, CLU and the Lincoln Institute seek to impact a billion people by mobilizing leaders worldwide to tackle pressing public sector challenges and to build and sustain vibrant communities for all.

Through our comprehensive Lincoln Vibrant Communities initiative, our uniquely co-designed bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and our skill-packed Advanced Practice Graduate Certificates, we help leaders take the next step in their careers—empowering them to make positive change in their communities.

Lincoln Vibrant Communities

The Lincoln Vibrant Communities Fellows and Teams Programs equip individuals and groups with the leadership skills, land policy tools, and national connections needed to create a  measurable, lasting impact. Fellows are individual leaders tackling multiple complex, common problems in communities, while Teams are groups of four to six  cross-sector leaders addressing a specific challenge through key deliverables.

Interested individuals can participate through either pathway. Fellows are highly encouraged to consider participating in the Teams Program following completion of the Fellows Program, but it is not required.
