Leigh Mantoni Stewart is a communication design professional with deep experience creating and managing brands, creating institutional and marketing communications, and managing design projects and teams. She has worked with nonprofits as well as clients in retail, financial services, and the technology sector, with a focus on institutional identity and brand evolution. Before joining the Lincoln Institute, Leigh helped build brand recognition while on staff at the Peabody Essex Museum, held the role of director of communication design at Art Technology Group (ATG), and was senior designer for consultancies in Washington, DC, and in Cambridge, and Boston, Massachusetts. She has served as president of the Boston Chapter of American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), a membership organization that advances design as a professional craft, strategic advantage, and vital cultural force, where she previously served as vice president of programming and program chair on both the Boston and DC boards. Leigh earned a BA in graphic design at American University. Her work has garnered regional and national recognition including honors from the American Association of Museums, Print magazine’s Regional Design Annual, Neenah Papers, and the Art Directors Club.
