Emily Wiggans is a senior analyst supporting the Internet of Water Initiative at the Lincoln Institute’s Center for Geospatial Solutions. Emily has more than seven years of experience with environmentally focused, applied GIS work in the public and private sectors. Before joining the Lincoln Institute, Emily was a senior geospatial analyst at the Chesapeake Conservancy’s Conservation Innovation Center. Her past work has focused on prioritizing opportunities using automation and high-resolution land cover data, web GIS administration, and developing web-based water monitoring applications for prioritizing restoration work and improving decision making. Her environmental background has proven useful for projects associated with federal stormwater management and water quality standards. She has a B.S. in environmental science from the University of Vermont.
