Ellen Stepansky

Ellen Stepansky is the director of human resources and organizational development at the Lincoln Institute, where she leads the HR team by balancing business strategy with employee experience. Ellen brings expertise in learning and development, systems management, recruitment, benefits, compensation, performance, and compliance to this role—skills she has accumulated in her 15-plus years in the field.

Before joining the team at the Lincoln Institute, she ran systems, compensation, and benefits at Oxfam, online learning at Corentus, and facilitation at Kids4Peace. She specializes in training and coaching, and draws on her Kantor instrument certification to improve the performance of individuals, teams, and organizations. As a trained performer and former preschool teacher, she brings creativity, improvisation, and people skills to her work.

Ellen holds an MA in organizational development from William James College and a BFA in musical theater from Emerson College. She has performed with ImprovBoston and sings at Temple Israel and weddings. She is raising two children and a dog with her partner.
