The 2027 Consortium for Scenario Planning Conference will bring together planning professionals, academics, students, and other scenario planning and foresight practitioners to present their work, learn from one another, and expand their networks. The 10th annual conference will be held in Los Angeles, California, with our cohost, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG).
Sessions consist of panels, interactive group work, and presentations including an opening plenary session about the Southern California Association of Governments’ project Connect SoCal Futures. Attendees can also participate in a tour of the Los Angeles Metro D line, the newest subway line in the United States. Networking opportunities will be available throughout the conference.
Registration for the conference is now open. The event is discounted for students, and conference sessions will be eligible for AICP Certification Maintenance credits. View the draft agenda, hotel booking link, registration form, and other details about the event.

A reduced registration fee is availabe for students.

Session Proposals
The session proposal deadline has been extended to July 23. Possible session types include presentations, panel discussions, interactive activities, and more. We strongly encourage speakers to include some sort of audience engagement components in their session. We will notify accepted applicants in September.
