CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (April 21, 2014) – Resilience, smart cities, and resolving land use disputes are among the topics explored by experts from the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy at the American Planning Association’s National Planning Conference April 25-30 in Atlanta.
The Lincoln Institute’s latest Policy Focus Report, Lessons from Sandy: Federal Policies to Build Climate-Resilient Coastal Regions, co-authored by Rob Pirani and Laura Tolkoff from the Regional Plan Association, having been released on Friday, April 25 at the RPA’s Regional Assembly in New York, will be available online and on USB drives.
Senior fellow Armando Carbonell, chairman of the Department of Planning and Urban Form, will be leading several sessions. Fellow Peter Pollock, former city planner of Boulder, Colo., will gather planning directors from the Atlanta region for a traditional retreat, and lead a panel on current issues facing local planners.
