Visiting Scholar

Department of Valuation and Taxation

The Department of Valuation and Taxation seeks a full-time visiting scholar to work on an empirically-based research project that is related to property taxation or other land-based revenue sources. Efforts to better estimate land values are particularly welcome. The scholar will work under the supervision of the Senior Fellow and Chair of the Department for either one semester or one year. It can begin any time in the 2019 calendar year.

Program Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Institute’s International and Institute-Wide Initiatives (i3) associate director, the program coordinator undertakes the specific administrative duties and responsibilities enumerated in the full job description that: (1) help i3 and the Office of the President’s staff execute various aspects of programs, research, and curriculum development activities; and (2) assist i3’s associate director and the Office of the President with matters related to both department’s internal administration. This position requires someone who has an extreme attention to detail and who is willing and able to take on various responsibilities in a fast-paced program that help make i3 and the Office of the President function successfully.
