Lincoln Institute of Land Policy
What does the work of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy look like on the ground? We outfitted several team members and partners with 360-degree cameras and asked them to visually share the places where they work. From the hardwood forests of New England to the ancient hutong neighborhoods nestled among the high-rise towers of Beijing, these five short virtual journeys illuminate the connection between people and place. As you travel the globe, you will learn about the unique challenges faced by each city and region, and how, with the support of the Lincoln Institute, each place is finding answers in land:
- Working to achieve balance between urbanization and cultural preservation in Beijing, China
- Tackling housing affordability, social inequality, and poverty in Cape Town, South Africa
- Spurring private and civic land conservation in Boston and Patagonia
- Financing neighborhood revitalization by leveraging land values in São Paulo, Brazil
- Advancing the integration of land and water management in Phoenix and Durango
