Property tax reform in Northern Ireland latest online course
A new online course is now available in the Online Education section of the Lincoln Institute website, as part of a steady expansion of online course offerings. Property Tax Reform: The Northern Ireland Experience is conducted by Nigel D. Woods and Billy McCluskey of the University of Ulster.
The course includes an introduction and four-part series detailing Northern Ireland’s property tax reform, explaining the transition from a rental value-based to capital value-based assessment system, the introduction of CAMA into the valuation process, and the importance of communication with elected officials and the public to ensure success. Parts two and three emphasize the evidence based reforms while part four emphasizes the role of public relations.
