Jess Wunsch is a research assistant at the Lincoln Institute, where she supports the Consortium for Scenario Planning and the Legacy Cities Initiative. Her primary research interests include equitable development and revitalization policy, innovative approaches to land use, and community-based research and evaluation as a tool for guiding public decision making. Prior to joining the Lincoln Institute, she served as a Hatfield Resident Fellow at the Oregon Department of Housing and Community Services, where she explored options for making homeownership programs more accessible to communities of color in Oregon. She has also held local government roles in San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Greensboro, North Carolina. She has an M.P.P. and M.U.R.P. from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in environmental studies from Ithaca College.
