The film first aired on the Cleveland public television station WVIZ on September 28, 2006 at 8 p.m. EST as part of the Ideas program, and again on October 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. EST on WVIZ. The film was shown to a gathering of some 500 people at the Museum of Natural History in Cleveland on December 11, 2006.
