The University as Developer: The University, the City, and Real Estate Development

This book is the product of a multiyear collaborative project of training, professional development and research designed to contribute to our understanding of the role of the university in urban real estate development. The book compiles a set of case studies from 17 universities across the United States. It will be published in Spring 2005 by M.E. Sharpe in cooperation with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy.

This book is being published by M.E. Sharpe in 2005 in cooperation with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. It is also a collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP). The book is a collection of case studies about university participation in smart growth planning and community projects.
