Abstract

The Lincoln Institute's annual Program for 2011–2012 presents a comprehensive overview of the Institute's mission and its expanding diversity of programs for this academic year. It includes department descriptions; courses, seminars, conferences, and online education programs; research, demonstration, and evaluation projects; Web-based resources and tools; publications and multimedia products; and fellows, lecturers, and researchers.

The Lincoln Institute’s work is organized in three departments: Valuation and Taxation, Planning and Urban Form, and International Studies, which includes programs on Latin America and China. Some key topics addressed in our education, research, and publications activities are property taxes, property rights, value capture, land development, climate change, regional planning, land conservation, affordable housing, and related land use and taxation issues of concern to policy makers, scholars, practitioners, and citizens throughout the world.

The 80-page Program is available for free downloading.
