Abstract

Territorial Cadastre in Latin American Countries

The book describes in detail the main characteristics of the cadastral systems implemented in the 19 countries of Latin America. The topics are organized in a standardized structure including geographic, historic, institutional, legal and technical aspects. This allows the book to be read vertically (by country) or transversally (choosing a topic and exploring it across countries). The book begins with an introductory chapter which presents a comparative study of the different realities, and finishes with examples of cadastral cartography. Electronic book.
