Abstract

The results of a roundtable discussion convened by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the Regional Plan Association on ways to improve the planning and funding of transportation in the U.S., based on the contributions of 30 distinguished leaders and scholars in transportation, planning, and business. The context for the report on transportation policy reform, revenue-raising options, a national vision for infrastructure, and impacts on climate change is the reauthorization of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act by Congress in 2009.
