LINCOLN INSTITUTE LAUNCHES REDESIGNED WEB SITE, BLOG
Ease of navigation for access to departments, publications, tools, and databases
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy has revamped its extensive
Web site, www.lincolninst.edu, with a fresh new look, better access to programs and products,
easier navigation, and more effective search functions. The redesign also includes the launch of a
new blog, At Lincoln House.
“Our Web site is now an even more effective means of communicating with both new
and established users. We have a lot of content, and the new design improves user access to our
programs, products, and events,” said Gregory K. Ingram, president and chief executive officer of
the Lincoln Institute.
The Institute’s redesigned Web site includes several features that reflect the ongoing
evolution of the organization, a think tank near Harvard Square in Cambridge, Mass. founded in
1974. Areas of enhancement include:
--An improved Pressroom/Information Center where users can find current information,
experts on a wide range of topics, and highlighted books, films, and working papers;
--The At Lincoln House blog, based on the established monthly online column of the
same name, which will allow more frequent postings and reader interactivity;
--Topical navigation and better organization to facilitate use;
--A new design with more rapid response; and
--Upgraded search functionality, powered by Google, allowing users easier access the
site’s extensive content.
The site, designed and developed by ADAMS, highlights current events and recent
endeavors while providing users access to hundreds of publications and working papers, online
education, and academic leaders. “The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy is a leader in their field,
addressing the some of the most pressing issues of the day,” said Ken Cochrane, president of
ADAMS. “We're pleased to work with the Institute to continue to bring their communications to
new levels and aid the effectiveness of their work.”
The Lincoln Institute Web site is at www.lincolninst.edu.
