Description
JOINT VENTURE partnerships
Sonoran Institute, Phoenix, Arizona

The joint venture partners will convene researchers and
concept leaders to identify key indicators and data needs
for policy development at the megaregion level in the Sun
Corridor encompassing Phoenix and Tuscon. The working
session will focus on issues concerning transportation,
energy, land use, open space, and water planning to determine
common interests of Intermountain West evolving
megaregions. The joint venture also will develop a model
Sun Corridor database and create education and outreach
materials for use in transferring lessons learned to other
