Start Date:

and Environmental Policy

Description
The Lincoln Institute joint venture with the Center for
Natural Resources and Environmental Policy continues to
develop and advance national policy for large-scale land
conservation. This initiative builds on a policy dialogue
convened in April 2009 and focuses on two related efforts.
First, we are working with national leaders and multiple
stakeholders to craft a framework that promotes and supports
regional solutions to issues related to climate change,
energy independence, community resilience, and land and
water protection. Second, we are exploring the creation
of a national alliance to build the capacity of regions for
large-scale land conservation.
