Educación a Distancia

El Programa para América Latina y el Caribe del Instituto Lincoln desarrolla actividades en educación a distancia (EAD) a fin de incrementar la oferta de cursos para aquellos interesados en temas relacionados con la política de suelo urbano quienes no tengan la oportunidad de participar en otros programas educacionales.

Los cursos son gratuitos y se ofrecen en dos modalidades:

Material multimedia EAD

El material multimedia estructurado porel área de Educación a Distancia del Programa para América Latina y el Caribees de acceso libre e irrestricto. Fue diseñado para apoyar iniciativas educativas y de formación complementaria.

En esta área se encuentran audioclases, mini-cursos de autoestudio y películas didácticas.

Cursos Moderados (restringidos a participantes seleccionados)

Estos cursos, intensivos e interactivos, son orientados principalmente a profesionales que actúan como funcionarios de instituciones académicas, gubernamentales y privadas involucradas en temas urbanos. Incluyen tareas semanales, foros de discusión, y evaluación periódica del trabajo de los participantes. Son ofrecidos a través de convocatorias de postulación semestral. Los grupos se conforman de 45 participantes seleccionados en base a la postulación. Duran 9 semanas y se dictan en español, habiendo algunos materiales de lectura en portugués.

The self-paced mini-courses are based on multimedia material available in Spanish and Portuguese. The six mini-courses offered are comprised of audioclasses of approximately one hour's duration, for a total of between 9 and 14 hours per mini-course. The courses have an automatic evaluation system using questionnaires linked to each one of the audioclasses.
