Dissertation Fellowships

Below you will find the guidelines for applying for a Dissertation Fellowship. If you have any questions regarding this fellowship or the application process, please contact the Lincoln Institute at fellowships@lincolninst.edu.

Overview
The Lincoln Institute offers annual dissertation fellowships which provide financial support to students of land policy at different stages of their academic careers. As recipients of a Lincoln Institute fellowship, students contribute to the tax and land policy knowledge base and develop ideas that guide policy makers throughout the world. The fellowship program provides an important link between the Institute's educational mission and its research objectives by supporting scholars early in their careers. Fellowships are open to Ph.D. students completing their dissertations whose research focuses on some aspects of land and tax policy. Dissertation fellowship awards are generally $10,000 each.
